Why Organic Cotton & Bamboo?
We have decided to use organic cotton in our products as it is grown without using any synthetic agricultural fertilisers or pesticides. There are also no chemicals used to turn the cotton plant into fibres. Making organic cotton more environmentally friendly than regular cotton. It's also recyclable.
Organic cotton uses up to 91% less water to grow than regular cotton and produces fewer greenhouse gas emissions.
Bamboo is renowned for it's softness and it's also good for sensitive skin, which is why we've chosen to use it. Our son Heath, suffers with eczema and bamboo fabric contains a natural antibacterial agent that makes it non-irritating. These antibacterial properties makes it a great choice for people with sensitive skin, especially problems with eczema or allergies.
Our garments are made from 70% Organic Cotton and 30% Bamboo.
